Hairy Costumed Performer at Local Open Mic Now Believed To Have Really Been a Yeti
Federal Animal Control experts are now investigating whether a mystery performer of three songs at The Bean Coffee House is truly a Yeti. Witnesses claim that, at first, they thought the guitar player/singer was a person dressed in costume. However, questions arose when, after completing his set, he leaped twenty feet through midair, grabbed an innocent seeing eye dog in his razor sharp teeth by the neck, possibly snapping it immediately, and bounded out the front door with the lifeless dog in his jaws.
"I thought he really had some talent, too," says one witness of the event. "When he opened with Simon and Garfunkel's 'Me and Julio,' the crowd stopped the laughter, and really became enthralled at his beautiful voice. When he did that to that poor dog, though, everyone was like, wow."
One government official remarked "Plain and simple, we just can't cover this one up. We may just have one really talented monster on our hands. We are searching for the suspect, though jurisdiction is still unclear. We've got Fish, Game and Wildlife on the case, and the FBI wants him for copyright violations." Animal rights advocates seem to be split on the issue.
Nevertheless, The Bean has sold thousands of it's newly minted Abominable Coffee Man mugs, both in store and on the internet.
