John Taylor Claims 'Coolest' Of All Taylors Title

Duran Duran still has it all. They have great music, a beautiful following of women (oh the women), and three Taylors --no, not for their clothes, but, rather, Roger Taylor on drums, Andy Taylor (formerly) on guitar, and John Taylor on bass. Now, in his new biography, John answers the most typical question they receive. "No, none of us are related, and it's a good thing, cause I like to think my genes are superior," he jokes. John's success has been an inspiration to bassists around the globe, who usually don't get as much attention.

""I'm not bitter," says drummer Roger. "I was more concerned with Nick (Rhodes), who almost made my drumming job obsolete with his keyboard playing."

Andy had also previously gone on record as saying "It was fun playing guitar, and I really enjoyed my time with the band. John really did get the most attention of all the Taylors, but he is really a great guy--and he deserved all the ladies," finished Andy in a bizarre, yet endearing conclusion.
